Why online therapy?
Even before COVID-19, online therapy was becoming a normal mode of treatment. Many people find that online therapy is more convenient and cost effective than in person sessions, plus it saves time. For therapy to be effective a person must be comfortable and relaxed, this is much easier to achieve when a person doesn’t have to rush to a therapist’s office and can enjoy a comfortable environment of their choosing. Additionally, you save the time and cost of driving back and forth to your appointment.
How effective is online therapy?
A number of research studies indicate that online therapy is just as effective as in person therapy and that clients are equally as satisfied with the mode of delivery.
What are the technical requirements?

How much does it cost?
The cost of an individual appointment is $225. The cost of a couples appointment is $325. Payments are due in full at the time of service and can be made conveniently and securely through the scheduling portal.
Do you accept insurance?
It is my belief that participation in insurance panels compromises the care that a clinician is able to provide. Participation in such plans reduces the privacy and confidentiality of the patient, which is an essential part of the therapeutic process, especially when dealing with sensitive issues regarding sex and relationships. This is why many clinicians abstain from accepting insurance plans.
What do I need to get started?
You simply need to schedule an appointment using our online scheduling portal. You will be able to select a date and time that is most convenient to you. You will then be emailed a link to join the online session for your scheduled appointment. Also you will be able to conveniently reschedule, cancel, and make payment within the portal.

What do I need for my appointment?
Before your appointment, you will want to make sure that your device is fully charged and that your camera and microphone are working properly. You may also want to have a notepad nearby in case you want to write something down and anything else that may make you more comfortable (i.e., water, tissues, etc.)
